Country on the Common Reveals 2026 Dates as Festival Returns 4 and 5 July

After a hugely successful debut, Country on the Common will return to Tooting, South West London, on Saturday 4 July and Sunday 5 July 2026. The inaugural 2025 event set a new benchmark for London’s country music calendar, drawing thousands for a weekend headlined by The Shires and Remember Monday, with memorable sets from Ward Thomas, First Time Flyers, Kezia Gill and Alyssa Bonagura. It was a launch that firmly established the festival as a major new moment for the UK country community, and London’s first ever outdoor country music festival.

A Festival Growing in Confidence

Organisers Enable LC have applied for a licence that would allow up to 7,500 visitors, which is an increase of 1,500 on the 2025 capacity. The move reflects the strong demand generated by the first year and the festival’s ambition to grow into a key fixture in the summer calendar.

Access for All Continues in 2026

One of the most praised elements of the 2025 event was its commitment to inclusivity. That commitment continues next year with a discounted Access for All ticketing offer for eligible local residents. The scheme ensures that everyone, regardless of circumstances, can enjoy a weekend of live music and community entertainment on their doorstep.

Weekend Timings Confirmed

Organisers have also confirmed the planned opening hours for the 2026 festival:

  • Saturday 4 July: 12 noon to 10.30pm
    (same timings as 2025)
  • Sunday 5 July: 12 noon to 9.30pm
(finishing 30 minutes earlier than last year)

These timings maintain the relaxed and family friendly atmosphere that defined the festival’s debut while still offering full days of live music and activity.
