Emerging UK country-pop sensation Rhiannon Paige is making waves with her debut UK tour, “The Story Is Mine.” This exciting milestone not only highlights her unique artistry but also marks a significant step in her journey as an independent artist. With stops in cities like Bristol, York, and London, Rhiannon is ready to bring her heartfelt music to fans across the nation.
For Rhiannon, this tour is a dream come true. She shares her excitement, saying, “I’m very, very excited. It’s very nerve-wracking because doing your first tour is obviously never gonna be easy. It’s never gonna be smooth. But so far it’s gone smooth. So hopefully fingers crossed, Friday is gonna go lovely and I’m really excited. The tickets are going really well, so I’m just grateful to anyone that’s bought a ticket and, yeah, I’m hitting the road!”
While embarking on this tour is a milestone, it’s also an intimate experience for both Rhiannon and her audience. Fans can expect a carefully curated setlist featuring her original songs that span different eras of her career. She teases, “Mainly it’s all original stuff—some new, some old, some more current. Obviously, I’ve just released a new single, so that will definitely be there. And for those that know me, I’ve released a couple of covers on Spotify, so they will be making a sneaky appearance and maybe potentially one more surprise.”
The choice of venues for “The Story Is Mine” tour showcases Rhiannon’s personal connection to her music and her audience. Each location has been selected with care, and some, like Zed Alley in her hometown of Bristol, hold a special place in her heart. “I did my first ever EP launch there, so I just wanted to go back. I love the venue, it’s so perfectly put together,” she explains. For York, FortyFive Vinyl Café was always the obvious choice. She adds, “I’ve been seeing it around for ages and I knew as soon as I booked the tour that was gonna be the venue.”
Music that Speaks Volumes
At the heart of this tour is Rhiannon’s latest single, “The Story Is Mine,” which is both a personal anthem and a statement of purpose. With lyrics that reflect resilience, patience, and determination, the track resonates with anyone who’s ever felt the weight of chasing their dreams. Rhiannon elaborates, “It just talks through my journey in life, feeling like I’ve always wanted to be like 10 steps ahead of where I actually am. And realizing there is no time limit on success. You can make it at any age, and you just need to reset and just enjoy life for what it is. Cause you’ve only got one life. So if you want something, just never give up.”
Known for blending country and pop influences with a rock edge, Rhiannon creates a sound that is uniquely hers. She describes her style as “the definition of a UK country-pop artist,” with nods to artists like Alanis Morissette and Casey Musgraves. “Alanis Morissette is like an idol… And in country terms, I love Casey Musgraves. I got to see her recently in Wolverhampton—she was amazing,” she shares. Her eclectic taste, shaped by her father’s love of rock music, also shines through in her work, infusing it with energy and depth.

Challenges and Triumphs
Rhiannon’s path to becoming an artist hasn’t been without its hurdles. Born with 70% hearing loss, she faced unique challenges that might have deterred others. However, she found solace and expression in music, overcoming obstacles with sheer determination. “I genuinely couldn’t sing at all when I was younger. I didn’t have an ounce of talent in my bones! But I just stuck with it, and I really persevered, and eventually managed to teach myself to sing. A lot of people say that you can’t teach yourself, and I say it’s not true. You can—if you stick with it, you can do it.”
This resilience is a recurring theme in her music and her approach to life, offering inspiration to fans and fellow artists alike.
Looking Ahead
While Rhiannon is fully focused on her tour, her dreams extend far beyond. Fans hoping for a full-length album won’t be disappointed, as it’s already on her radar. “My goal is to release an album at some point, but I’m just trying to build myself up so I can get a bit more of a presence before I start doing that. But that is the goal. One day it’s gonna happen!”
In the meantime, singles like “The Story Is Mine” are helping her carve out her space in the UK music scene. Her ultimate wish? A collaboration with Chris Stapleton. “I love his voice, it’s great. And songwriting as well. He’s an absolute master, isn’t he?” she says with enthusiasm.
For now, Rhiannon is savouring every moment of her debut tour, sharing her voice, her story, and her music with audiences who are ready to embrace her journey. With her authenticity, talent, and determination, there’s no doubt that her star will only continue to rise.
