Florence Sommerville
Singer-Songwriter
Florence Sommerville is one of the UK’s most compelling new voices in country music—a singer-songwriter whose blend of heartfelt storytelling and melodic finesse has captivated audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. Born in Orsett, Essex, Florence began writing songs at the age of 12 and quickly carved out a name for herself on the live circuit, from the finals of Open Mic UK at London’s O2 Indigo to standout sets at Latitude Festival, Maverick Festival, and AMA Music Week in Nashville.
Her debut album Endless Horizon (2025) marks a defining moment in her artistic journey. Produced by Alan West and featuring a seasoned band of collaborators, the record showcases Florence’s lyrical depth and emotional range across a mix of self-penned tracks and co-writes. From the introspective ballads to the soaring anthems, Endless Horizon is a bold, intimate portrait of a young artist coming into her own.

Florence’s voice—rich, resonant, and unmistakably her own—has drawn comparisons to the likes of Kacey Musgraves and Brandi Carlile, yet her sound remains distinctly British in its storytelling roots. Whether performing at Nashville’s Bluebird Café or London’s Green Note, she brings a quiet intensity and authenticity that lingers long after the final note.
With Endless Horizon, Florence Sommerville isn’t just arriving—she’s setting the course for a new wave of UK country. Find out more in our recent interview with Florence.
