Harleymoon Kemp
Singer-Songwriter
Harleymoon Kemp is a British singer-songwriter and photographer whose vibrant blend of country, pop, and rock has made her one of the most exciting voices in UK country music. Born into a celebrated musical family—her father Martin Kemp of Spandau Ballet, her mother Shirlie Holliman of Wham! and Pepsi & Shirlie, and her brother Roman Kemp, a well-known broadcaster—Harleymoon has carved out her own distinctive path as both an artist and storyteller.
She began writing songs at 13 and studied photography at the London College of Communication, later working as a photographer and director for artists, brands, and magazines including Nothing But Thieves, Wonderland, and Notion. Her creative eye continues to shape her artistry, with striking visuals complementing her music.
Harleymoon’s debut single Space (2020) introduced her as a fresh new voice, followed by fan favourites She Looks Like Me, Lucky, and Love Somebody Else. Her early success was recognised when she was named Horizon Artist of the Year at the 2021 British Country Music Awards. Since then, she has become a regular on festival stages across the UK, from The British Country Music Festival to Pub in the Park, Big Feastival, and Brighton Pride, where her bold, high-energy live shows have earned her a reputation as a dynamic performer.

In 2023 and 2024, Harleymoon’s career accelerated with headline shows, sold-out tours, and standout performances at major festivals including the Isle of Wight Festival. Her music has been championed by Absolute Radio Country, BBC Radio, and editorial playlists worldwide. Known for her playful, confessional stage style—“a night of bad dates and heartbreaks,” as she describes it—Harleymoon has built a loyal following drawn to her honesty and charisma.
Now in 2025, Harleymoon continues to expand her catalogue with new releases including the upbeat country-pop anthem Back in Tennessee, which became the only UK artist track playlisted on Absolute Radio Country. With a growing international presence, time spent honing her craft in Nashville, and a UK tour lined up for 2025, she is firmly established as one of the leading lights of the UK country scene.
