Named after RL Burnside's album "Too Bad Jim," the band plays a high-octane mix of North Mississippi Hill Country blues and boogie, delivering a raw and earthy sound reminiscent of juke joints.
Their debut album, "Over The Hill - A Tribute To RL Burnside," showcases their deep knowledge and passion for this style of music, with well-known to obscure songs from Burnside's repertoire. The single "Miss Maybelle" from the album has received acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic, and their live performances are known for their energetic and hypnotic groove.
