Country on the Common is set to return to South London next summer, bringing two days of live music, dancing and Western‑themed fun to Tooting Common on 4–5 July 2026. Tickets go on sale 31 March at 09:00.

The festival, which has quickly become one of the capital’s standout celebrations of country, roots and blues, promises its biggest edition yet. Organisers say the event will once again offer a welcoming atmosphere for both long‑time country fans and newcomers looking for a lively summer weekend.

Saturday’s main stage will be led by Grammy‑nominated blues icon Seasick Steve, whose gritty, roots‑driven sound has earned him a loyal UK following. He’ll be joined by Kezia Gill, Twinnie and One Night In Nashville, setting the tone for a full day of Americana‑inspired performances.

Cody Pennington

Sunday sees rising US artist Cody Pennington take the headline slot. Known for his authentic Nashville sound and high‑energy live shows, Pennington has been building a strong UK fanbase in recent years. He’ll be supported by Elles Bailey and Harleymoon Kemp.

Adding to the excitement, Vernon Kay will debut his Country Jukebox DJ set, marking the BBC Radio 2 presenter’s first time bringing the concept to a festival stage.

Tribute acts, dancing and family fun

Alongside the main lineup, the weekend will feature a range of tribute acts including Johnny Cash Roadshow, The Shania Twain Story, The Chris Stapleton Experience and Fearlessly Taylor Swift.

Festivalgoers can also expect a packed programme of activities. Line dancing sessions with The Country Roses, barn dancing with Cut A Shine, DJ sets from Chris Armstrong and a Silent Desert Disco will keep the party going.
